And His Name Is ...

Well after all of the suspense. Here you go!

His middle name "Jerome" is in honor of his Grandpa, Joe's dad.

You can call him "Coop" for short!

Finishing Touches to the Nursery!

The mobile is in place and good to go!

We FINALLY got the bed skirt for the crib.

And we got the changing pad cover for the changing table!

All of the toys are ready for the arrival of their new friend!

We got these cool stacking toy boxes from Land of Nod. And those animals guarding the toys were my nephew's Ryan and Brady and they so generously donated them so that Baby Boeckman could have them for his nursery! Thanks boys, I know he will love them and they have a good home!

We finally got a frame for the alphabet poster and we painted it white! Looks great next to the lamp.

Well we broke down and decided to go ahead and purchase a rocker/glider. Its pretty comfy, and we figured it will be something that we use a whole lot! It isn't part of our furniture set, but is ended up matching pretty perfect.

And the final piece of 'artwork' is in place. I decided a long time ago that I wanted to have something with the name hanging on the wall. I found these letters at Hobby Lobby months ago. They were just brown paper material. So I painted them to match the room and added some dashes to match the stitching on the bedding. Just painted them last week, had to have them hidden until we revealed the name. But the secret is out now!

Special Delivery from Land of Nod!

Last week we came home from Lamaze class to a pretty cool surprise. A big box sitting outside from Land of Nod. My parents had been in Chicago visiting my brother Dan and made a special trip to the Land of Nod store to buy some things off of my baby registry.

I love knitted animals and was so excited when I opened this box to find this cute stuffed panda. Who knows maybe this will the baby's best buddy one day : )

Some pretty cool stuff to add to Baby B's nursery!

Shower Extravaganza- Part II

This is vintage "nostalgic" piece of decoration. My good friend Holly that helped throw the shower for me, this was used at her baby shower over 20 years ago. Pretty cool.

Babies with pacifiers.

Baby Rattles, of course!

Both of these cupcakes were made by Kari, my sister-in-law. She is very creative and always baking something cool!

This was a cute/gross game that we played that had to do with baby poop! Of course not real baby poop. Each diaper had a different kind of chocolate candy melted into it. You had to try and guess what type of candy was in each diaper.

And let the gifts begin ...

This is pretty cool. Both Joe and I were #5 in college.

My brother Dan might steal this from me once he has kids. (He is kinda a Star Wars dork, sorry Dan, but you know its true!)

Joe will be very excited about the NEW cardinal gear!

Whew... what a party! And yes, I'm on my way to being HUGE.

Check out these cute party favors!

Here are the party planners themselves!

Once again, we came home with a boatload of stuff!

Way later that evening, I was attempting to show Joe all of the gifts. He fell asleep about half way through. Oh well, I tried.

Don't worry I finally did get everything put away. I think it took me a whole week though.. HA!

Shower Extravaganza Weekend

Here is a picture of me at my desk at work. Hmm... Who would take a picture of this, you may ask? Who else but my dad. So here you go, this is where I play on the computer every day.

Now where was I, Oh yeah, a couple weekends ago I had showers two days in a row. My coworkers were contemplating whether to surprise me, but at the last minute they decided they better tell me, so I didn't leave and eat lunch with my parents who were in town. It was very nice and they invited my parents to come too. Mom and Dad really enjoyed that! Lunch was catered in from Mimi's Cafe, a favorite place of mine.

I was so surprised when I walked in and saw the umbrella stroller from our registry! I wasn't expecting anyone to buy that for us since it was online only. What a great surprise! And its just as cute in person as it is online!!!

This is a whole basket of various cute gifts from different co-workers. So creative!

Another suprise gift. This cute "MOD" blanket has bright colored elephants on it. This was also an online-only item that I wasn't expecting to get. Love it!

We got so many nice gifts. You can't see it very well, but this is a 'mini' adidias sweatsuit. Too cute! Baby B. will be decked out once daddy is in basketball season.

Later that evening once I was at home. The grandma's looking at all of the gifts.

Look at all of this cute stuff!!

This card was made by one of my co-workers and good friends, Emily!

And this cute tag/card was made my another one of my co-workers and friends Erin. Plus checkout out that mini Webster Groves t-shirt. Erin had this specially made. Joe was pretty jazzed about this.

These cute "MOD" animal pillows were hand-made by my co-worker and friend Carly. They are super cute! And match the room perfect. They are hanging out in the crib for now, but they won't get to be in there for too long.

As you can see that was quite a start to the 'Shower Extravaganza Weekend'!
