Broxton 1 Month

Here is a little recap of Broxton's first month:

* A few days before he turned one month, he started smiling at us.

*He seems pretty easy going. He tends to just fall asleep on his own. Either on the bobby or in the swing. Which is great!

  * The week he turned 7 weeks, I returned to work. He was taking a bottle pretty easy. Taking between 2-3 ounces.

  *  He does two cluster feedings a day. One at 6, 7, 8. And then in the evening from 4, 5, 6. But not always everyday.

  *  Tends to take a hour or longer nap in the morning. One longer nap in the afternoon.

  *  Sleeps a 5 hour stretch at night. Usually 7 pm to about 12pm. Then wakes after 3 hours. Then wakes about 5 or 6 am.

  *  He started to coo and talk a lot. He gets real excited when he sees Mommy or Daddy. He smiles a lot at times.

  *  Still swaddling him. Sometimes with one arm out.

  *  He is always moving alot, kicking and moving his legs and arms.

  *  Doesn't mind tummy time to much. Does start to cry after a while.

  *  Likes getting a bath. Is just real quite.

  *  Is wearing 3 month clothes.

  *  Hair is still dark, but is looking a little bit lighter than before.

  *  Likes the swing.

Its hard to believe Broxton's first month is already over. He has been such a good baby. So easy going. Cooper and Gwen are adjusting well.  I'm (Deb) back to work and that is going good. Joe is on full-time Daddy duty. He is doing great at that. All is good here.

Now on to Month TWO!

Cooper 5th Bday - Minion Party

Cooper turned 5 this year. And he requested a Minion party. We all had a pretty good time!

I was always enjoy making some decorations for the kids parties. This year we even used some of Joe's science stuff, since it fit the 'secret lab' theme.

The kids table.

We had some Minion hats for the kids.

 And party favors, of course.

One of Cooper's classmates mom, has a cookie business. She made the cute minion cookies.

And lets not forget the cake. I'm going to have to brag on this one. My good friend (coworker)
Erin made it, and it was pretty dang adorable. She is very talented!

 The little details were amazing!

Here she is. She has made a bunch of Cooper's cakes over the years. And every time, she knocks our socks off! Thanks Erin, the cake was so cute! And Cooper loved it!

I seem to always find these themed cupcake ideas on Pinterest. So I couldn't pass up making this one.
Minion cupcakes.

Pretty impressive, all of the kids down, together eating. Pretty cute!

We did an activity where the kids made molecules out of candy gum drops. Cooper and his friend seemed to enjoy it.

Minion Fun

I made these hats for Cooper's 5th Bday (minion party). So we were just goofing around wearing the hats on Saturday.

Two little characters, to say the least.

And a cheesy Minion selfie.

Gwen's 1st Cardinals Game

About a month ago we went to the Cardinals game. It was Gwen's first time and she was super excited.

She was amazed by the crowd. And liked looking at all of the people.

We saw fredbird from a distance and she was really excited!

Cooper had a great time too! All he kept talking about was getting a snow cone.

Finally the snow cone guy came.

We wanted to get Gwen a Build-A-Bear for a souvenir of her first time to a game. Since we did that with Cooper when he was younger and he got the Fredbird.

First we were going to get Gwen a Clydesdale. But Cooper really liked it, so we ended up getting it for him.

Gwen got a cheerleader Cardinals bear.

We lasted the entire game and they really had a great time!

And a family pic, (but without Broxton, he stayed home with Grandma)
