Cooper Meets Santa

We took Cooper to meet Santa for the first time. He did really good. He was pretty funny though. At first he didn't even know Santa was there, he was too busy watching Daddy act silly. But once they finished taking the photo, Cooper looked up at Santa with the funniest expression "Who the heck are you?"

Getting Ready for the Holidays

\

Well we decided to get our first family portrait. We were pleased with how they came out. And Cooper did such a great job. He was 'all smiles' of course.

"I'm dreamin of a Coopy-christmas."

Oh yeah, chillin' in my puffy vest.

I don't know what this contraption is, but it sure is fun.

Rock Chalk, Jayhawk

.....KUuuuuuuuuuuu

Future KU basketball player? Yes Cooper is wearing KU gear, and loving it.. ha ha ha. Obviously Mommy dressed him and Daddy wasn't home. This cute warm-up suit is from Grandma and Grandpa friend.

Green Beans? Not so much.

Cooper so far had done well with his vegetables. But the Green Beans.. well that was a whole new story. He basically just wasn't having that.. HA! At least with the other vegetables, he made an face, than swallowed it and would open his mouth for more. But with the green beans, he just kept his mouth open and let it run out. Then the next bite he gagged on it. So that was enough of that. This is proof that Cooper isn't always just 'All Smiles'. Guess we'll have to try green beans later on.

6 Months

Cooper is 6 Months! We went to the doctor last weekend and he weighs 18 lbs. 1/2 ounce. What a lead brick.. ha! He is such a trooper as he had to get 4 immunizations. He didn't even cry until the last one. Other than that he is healthy and doing great. He is still working on new skills like rolling over and sitting up alone. He rolls over occasionally. But most of the time his one arm gets in the way, he hasn't quite figured that out yet.

Cooper received this Ugly Doll as a gift from his cousins Jeff and Elise. Cooper has a couple of other Ugly Dolls, but he especially likes this one. Its his buddy.

He really thinks the Ugly dolls is hilarious!

Tired from laughing and talking to his Ugly Doll.

Yes, my son is wearing a Mizzou outfit. Obviously Joe's dressed him. HA! Don't worry he has a KU outfit. I'll have to get a picture of that.

Just sitting around.

Happy Halloween

Cooper took part in his 1st Halloween. He started the day with just his festive orange shirt and bib. Then later in the afternoon he put on his costume. It was a good thing we put his costume on him earlier in the day, because he ended up taking a three hour nap from 5:30-8:30 and completely missed all of the trick r treating. Grandma and Grandpa Friend and Grandma Boeckman came over to hang out and see Cooper in his costume. So when he finally woke up from his long nap, he tiger costume made one more appearance.

What is all of the commotion about?

Grandma?

And Grandma?

Skeleton Pj's

You can't tell because of the camera flash. But the skeleton glows in the dark. Cooper was amazed. Or freaked out? Ha.
