Preschool Halloween Party

With Cooper being in preschool now, this year he got to experience his '1st school party'. I think I was more excited that him! I signed up to be a room mom. I'll have to admit though, things are quite like they were when we were kids. If you know me I was super excited about the party. I love parties I tend to go all out. It was cute and all, but I would have like to done more. Oh well maybe next time. I think the kids had a good time and that is all that matters. I was in charge of treats. And I volunteer before thinking about all of the allergies that exist these days. They were quite a few restrictions. But we were given a list of 'safe' treats. So I picked a few things off of there, mini marshmallows and Jello Jigglers. I only got just a few pics of the party.

Cooper was spider man. Here they are getting ready to eat their treats.

We had a few simple games for them to do.

 And a festive craft.

The famous 'circle mat' I finally got to see this in action. As everyone was waiting to be picked up.

Here is the 'ghost poop' or mini marshmallows. I forgot to get a picture of the Jello jigglers.

Preschool Homework

Well we were nervous at first about Cooper going to preschool, especially since it ended up being a few days after Gwen was born. I was only nervous for him to have to endure such BIG changes all at once. But he loved it from the first day. And continues to talk about it alot and ask almost everyday if its time to go to preschool. We are thankful he has made such an easy transition. And we are so proud of how he is becoming such a BIG boy.

I'm kinda amazed at the things they are teaching at preschool these days. Cooper came home the first week spelling his name. And learning he whole name. At this point he can actually write his name. It looks a little rough. But I mean seriously he is only 3 years old. That seems pretty crazy to me. He comes home every week with a few little worksheets of 'homework' to write the 'letter of the week' or work on various numbers. He loves doing his homework and him and Daddy have fun doing it together.

Gwen's First Bath

Yes Gwen is two months and just now getting a bath. HA! Just kidding. No but I realized that I hadn't written a post about this yet.

Gwen's first bath went much smoother than Cooper's. She didn't really cry. She wasn't really sure what was going on, but she seemed to enjoy it.

Joe is kinda the expert at the early, tiny baby bath stage. I'll admit I'm not a fan of it. Kinda makes me nervous. So Joe is in charge of baths until she is a little bigger.. ha! I help but he does most of it. What a good daddy!
