1. Cutting his last four teeth. The pointy ones. And all four at once.. yikes!! He will have a full mouth of teeth before the age of 2.
2. He got his first basketball goal and was immediately 'in love'. I didn't even have it fully assembled, but he knew exactly what to do. He played with it non-stop for the entire first day he got it. He didn't even look at his other toys.
3. He started pointing to things in books. Animals, etc.
4. He loves, loves Elmo and when an Elmo movie is on he is FULLY engrossed.
5. He also loves his dog Scout, that says his name and plays songs.
6. He still loves bath time, even though for about a week, he was randomly scared of taking a bath? He likes playing with his mini basketball goal in the tub.
7. Still eating baby food. But a good amout of real food too. Having a hard time transitioning to real meats and real vegetables. He takes them at times. He loves fruit. And eats about any kind you give him. Regardless he is good eater.. just a little picky. He comes by that honestly.
8. On perfect Fall days, he likes playing outside with his vintage bubble blowing lawn mover or his Cozy Coupe car.
9. We took a trip to the ER because he dropped a glass jar of salsa and cut his foot. Thank God he wasn't hurt really bad. Someone was really watching over him, that is all I can say.
10. We said 'Bye Bye' to the binky. About two days before he was 18 Months. And that was the goal to have it GONE by 18 Months. He did remarkably well. We got rid of it 'cold turkey'. Poor little guy. But bedtime was way way easier than I thought. Naps were rough for a few days. But he did it! Way to go ... Big boy!
11. Last but not least, we had our first sign of speaking. Other than random "Ma Ma and Da Da". He started saying Hi. Its pretty close to sounding like "Hi". And he says it at the right time. Like when he is answering his phone.. HA!. I'm sure there will be more words coming soon!
