Gwen Ears Pierced - Part II - New Earrings!

Back around Christmas Break Gwen got her ears pierced. Nowadays you have to leave the studs in for three months before removing them. To a 6 yr old, that is like eternity.. ha! I marked it on my calendar and sure enough the day had finally arrived. Gwen, Broxton and I took a trip back to Sweet & Sassy at the mall to pick out some new earrings. Gwen was nervous about it hurting, removing the studs for the first time. But the lady that helps us was awesome, and it was smooth sailing. Gwen picked out a few new pairs and picked out one to put on right then. Brave girl she even picked out a pair of dangle earrings.

Broxton even wanted to get in on the fun and sitting in the BIG chair.

Cooper Birthday Sleepover

Cooper had his 9th birthday a few weeks ago. This year instead of doing a big friend party, we decided just to do something small. Cooper has been asking us to have a sleepover, so he decided to invite a few of his classmates/teammates.

We started off at our house with pizza for dinner. Then Joe and the boys headed Skyzone for some jumping fun!

Gwen, Broxton and I stayed home and played. They were excited when the boys came back home. 

The boys were sweet and played with Gwen and Broxton. 

Cooper opened his gifts. He got some pretty cool Nerf guns. He was really excited! He only has a few and had been asking for some more.

The boys played games, watched some Blues hockey and ended the night with movie and popcorn. 

The kids voting on the movie choices while enjoying some popcorn and candy. What were we thinking giving them more sweets.. HA! 

I was a little nervous embarking on our first sleep over, but it was a 'piece of cake'. It was a great group. Everyone was so good and polite. We are greatful that Cooper's has such nice friends to grow up with!
