Broxton's 3rd Birthday - Ugly Doll (Rawr Rawr) Party!

Broxton has been kinda into monsters for a little while. It first started with these three stuffed monsters that sit in his room. They were actually something that I got for Cooper before he was born to decorate his nursery. They were these funny little characters called "Ugly Dolls". Cooper never really took to them much, so they were hardly played with and like brand new. Once Broxton came along I decided to put them in his room. The last few months he always want to sleep with one of them. Anytime we are referring to a monster Broxton calls it a "Rawr Rawr".. kinda like he is making a growling noise. So monsters are Rawr Rawrs. 

For some reason when we went to sing. He started to cover his eyes. He was covering his eyes around strangers for a while, but he hasn't been doing that lately. Then once we sang "Happy Birthday", well it didn't go very well. 

He started screaming bloody murder and clenching his fists. You would have thought we were torturing him.  

Well once everyone stopped staring at him and singing. And he got a piece of cake and icecream, he seemed to recover ok. 

Broxton got a lot of nice clothes and toys. And it was a fun afternoon with family! 

Gwen's 4th Birthday - Princess Party!

Gwen is really into the Disney princess, so it was easy to decide on a theme for her birthday party this year!

Cooper 7th Birthday - Minecraft "Friend" Party

 

We started the birthday celebration a little bit early. Cooper's friend birthday party was today! It was Minecraft themed (which is a video game that Cooper is really into). We had the party at a place called Epic 6. And indoor arena with various fun activites such as Dodge Ball, Laser Tag and an inflatable course.  We invited just the boys in Cooper's class. The boys had a blast!

 The first event was the inflatable obstacle course. 

  

 

 

 Then the next event was a few games of Dodge ball.

 

We managed to wrangle the boys for a few group pics. These are Coopers classmates. Minus a few that couldn't make it.

 Time for presents. 

 

 

After the time in the party room, with pizza, cake and gifts. We headed back out for one more event "Laser tag". Our host gave us a few extra token and so some of the dads got to play Laser Tag with the boys. I'm not sure who had more fun.. the boys or the BIG boys..  ha!

 

 

 Lastly a little time in the arcade.

 

 The party went really good. Its only the beginning of the birthday fun. We have some more fun things planned for Cooper over the next few days and into the week!
