6 Months

Here is a little bit about Gwen at 6 months.

Her 6 month checkup went great and she is growing like a weed. She checked in at 19 lbs. 11 ounces. Whew she is really heavy.

Things she was doing this past month: 

•Laughing/giggling. 

She has the cutest laugh. Sometimes you can even get a 'belly laugh'.

•Making noises. 

Still making the motor boat noise. But now she is saying Ma ma. And Da da. I think she only says Ma ma when sh is mad.

•First Fruits

We are working our way through the baby foods. And she got her first fruits. So far she has taken everything really easy. Which has been great.

•First two teeth

Her bottom two teeth came in. And another little white bump is next to those.


Gwen is so easy going. She laughs at everything especially Cooper. Even if he is attempting to be mean rather than funny.. ha! She loves her little activity chair. And really loves the jumper. She started sitting in the high chair. She is a little 'bossy' at times. Not really but she knows when it time to get her solids.. and she starts making some funny grunts. Mostly to me, most be that 'mommy syndrome thing'.

She is really focused here.

 "Ok mom, I'm good enough with the camera."

Spring Break Part I

 Cooper had his first Spring Break this year. We didn't have any big trip planned, but we did have a lot of fun with some guests from out of town. My good friend Rachel came to visit from Topeka. We know each other for ever (since kindergarden.. and she lived down the street from me growing up). 

Her son Cameron is just a year younger than Cooper, but they had a great time together. I took some vacation time so we could do some fun stuff with them. The first place we went was the Science Center.
