Cookies for Santa. Carrots for Rudolph.

Our nightly bedtime routine of reading books.

Getting ready to put the snacks for Santa by the fireplace.

Cooper inspecting the cookies, hoping that Santa would be pleased.

Cooper was excited. Time to go to bed so that Santa will come.

Christmas Eve

This year Joe and I hosted Christmas Eve for the Boeckman's at our new house. Here are a few pics of our house getting ready for the party.

The dining room all ready for dinner.

The appetizers and snacks and out and ready to go.

Grandma Boeckman arrived with her festive antlers.

Aunt Kerrie and Emilie stopped by before getting together with some other family. We were excited to see Emilie since she was back from college for Christmas break. Cooper calls her 'Em Em'.

Time to open gifts. Cooper got some great stuff.

His first Hot Wheels set. With cars and a ramp.

 Cooper passing out gifts.

Cooper riding his new horse on a stick from Betsy.

Cooper and Aunt Kari and Uncle Ryan.

An attempt at a family photo. No one told me to fix my hair I look like a 'hot mess'... HA!

We had a great Christmas Eve. Good time with family. Great food, nice gifts. We are very blessed. Of course we missed the Friend side but we saw most of them around Thanksgiving and celebrated Christmas then.

St. Nick's Day

Toward the beginning of Dec. St. Nick made a stop by our house and brought Cooper a few surprises.

He got a new Christmas movie - Bernstein Bears Christmas.

 A new Abominal Snowman shirt.

 And his first Nativity scene.

Cooper also got some fun surprises that St. Nick left at Grandma Boeckman's house, Aunt Kari and Betsy's houses too. He must really 'rate'.
