Fro

Stumbled across Joe's old wig and sunglasses. A costume he has used many times in Halloween's of the past.

Cooper had a good time with it.

Happy Fall

Hard to believe that October is here. And Fall is starting to arrive.

We are having fun decorating for the 1st holiday in our new house... Halloween! I decorated earlier this year than normal, just because I so excited to see where I could put all of my stuff. I'm also very 'jazzed' about having a mantel to decorate.. oh the small things.

Anyway there are a few pics of the outside. I will add some more pics of the inside soon.

Joe picked up some hay and these potted mums last weekend.

We got some new little pumpkin lights to line the sidewalk for the 'trick or treaters'.

The front porch still needs some work. But we got a new mat and fun scarecrow dude at Pier 1.

1st Date?

Cooper had his first date this weekend... with an older woman.

Just kidding.... HA! He isn't dating until he is like 25...or at least for a long time..  : )

But he did have a 'play date' of sorts.

This past weekend was Alumni Weekend at Maryville University. They have dozens of events geared towards various Alumni. We attended the 1st Annual "Louie Fest". A family friendly event with food, live music, and games. We met up with one of my friends (and co-workers), Carly. She brought her family and Cooper got to meet Lily for the first time. She is a few years older than him.

They had an absolute blast together. It was too cute!

They met the mascot "Louie"... aka the NEW mean looking Bosco... for those Maryville Alumni out there that know what I'm talking about. (Our old mascot was Bosco and he kinda looked like a whimp, so when Maryville switched to DII for Athletics, they redesigned the logo - to be more scary)

Joe and a few of his friend were in charge of barbecing.

They danced.  Played Games. And had a good 'old time.

Cooper got a balloon, so he was in 'hog heaven. And he had his first taste of cotton candy.

And of course.. he like it.

Cooper tried to impress Lily by acting like he knows how to tie shoes.

Except he doesn't know how.. Ha! But he sure tried.

I think there might be more 'dates' in the future.
