Daddy Time

One nice thing about being a teacher is summer's off. Sometimes I think I went into the wrong profession...ha! The school year is busy with Joe's coaching, but in the summer he really gets to spend some fun quality time with Cooper. Last week they had a day out.. and I guess Grandma isn't the only one 'wrapped around Cooper's finger'.. ha ha. Cooper and Joe went out and about for the day. Which included Cooper coming home with a new set of Toy Story figures. He was on 'cloud 9'.

So when I got home from work Cooper was fully engrossed with his new Toy Story guys. 

Unpacking

We had a very productive weekend. Even though unpacking is a lot of work. And we still have a long ways to go.. its kinda fun slowly discovering all of our stuff. Most of it that has been packed up for at least 7 months, some longer. So we got some of our artwork hung.. and its really starting to look like home. The mantel is a work in progress, but that is what we have so far. 

 We put our retro metal signs in the kitchen. Our orange table is almost done.. stay tuned.

Well we figured since we basically have a forest in our backyard.. ha ha. Just kidding. No but seriously with all of the trees we figured we would be experiencing a Disney scene of wild life in our backyard. Saturday morning we got our first dose of that. Not sure what we saw, but he was making himself at home.
