20 Months

FUN LITTLE THINGS TO REMEMBER:

*Starting eating a bowl of cereal with spoon. All by himself. A little messy at first, but he is getting pretty good at it.

*Feeding himself a lot more in general, with a fork or spoon. Most of the time he insists on feeding himself.

*Loves his new sofa that he got for Christmas, watches movies and morning cartoons while relaxing in it.

*Still behind on speaking. Hardly says any words. But his motor skills are very good. He understand everything and complex directions. Just a 'late bloomer'. Who knows what he will say once he does finally talk. I'm sure it will be 'a mouth full'.

*New favorite bedtime video - Pajanimals (from the maker of the Muppets - bedtime stories and songs)

*New favorite food - dipping things into Ketchup. And raisins are a new favorite.

*In general starting to take table foods much much better. Still working on the vegetables.

*Wears a 2T (some 3T) and a size 6 shoe.

*Still loves anything Elmo, other new favorites include Little Einsteins & Toy Story.

*Favorite book - Bedtime with Teddy (cloth book with attached mini teddy bear). Reads this everynight before bed.

*Favorite toys - retro kitchen, popper train, old school popper, new wooden car ramp, little people zoo, his basketball goal, cars, chuck the truck and ramp, puzzles, anything alphabet, mickey drum set and mini vtech laptop.

1st Snow

We had our first snow of the winter a few weeks ago. It didn't snow much, but enough to play outside in. Cooper wasn't sure what to think at first. He got pissed when I bundled him up and he could hardly move.. HA! He ended up having a good time. (FYI.. this was his first time playing in the snow, last winter he was too small to really 'get it'.)

"I can't move."

Playing on Grandma's back patio. Which is sadly covered with a bunch of stuff from our backyard.

"Not sure about this stuff."

Living with Grandma

Well we have finally settled in. Cooper has adjusted very well to his new house and bedroom. And things are becoming more normal. We are looking forward to house hunting, but we aren't in any kind of rush. As long as Diana doesn't get sick of us : )

New temporary room.

The weather has been freakishly warm on and off the past few weeks. So we have got to place outside in the middle of winter... and without a winter jacket. Pretty cool.

Playing in the leaves and dirt. Typical boy.

Currently he likes to push his car, instead of riding in it.

Saturday morning and Mommy made pancakes.

Cooper is checking out the attempted Mickey Mouse head pancake.
