Happy Halloween

Cooper took part in his 1st Halloween. He started the day with just his festive orange shirt and bib. Then later in the afternoon he put on his costume. It was a good thing we put his costume on him earlier in the day, because he ended up taking a three hour nap from 5:30-8:30 and completely missed all of the trick r treating. Grandma and Grandpa Friend and Grandma Boeckman came over to hang out and see Cooper in his costume. So when he finally woke up from his long nap, he tiger costume made one more appearance.

What is all of the commotion about?

Grandma?

And Grandma?

Skeleton Pj's

You can't tell because of the camera flash. But the skeleton glows in the dark. Cooper was amazed. Or freaked out? Ha.

Almost Sitting Up

Cooper isn't quite able to sit up all by himself. These pictures looks like he can, but we were literally right next to him. He lasts a couple of seconds and then slowly topples over. Or he leans forward and looks like a little gorilla.

Big Boy Food - 1st Veggies

Cooper had his 1st taste of veggies the other day. We started with Sweet Potatoes and he wasn't really sure what to think at first. But after a couple of days I think he is starting to like it. Cooper will be six months soon (next week). He got weighed a couple weeks ago and weighed in at 16 lbs. and 10 ounces. So we are curious to see how much he has grown. It seems like he has grown a lot.

It wasn't the best first reaction. But it was pretty funny! The first couple bites were followed by this classic face. And then he kept opening his mouth but was still kinda unsure.

And we survived the first feeding.

DAY 2 - More Sweet Potatoes

Momentarily fussed. What the heck is this crap.. HA!

Coming back for more, but still unsure.

Ok, this stuff isn't too bad.
